Are you on the right path in life?

Life can be fun, challenging, and confusing all at the same time. Different periods of your life will bring different feelings. Sometimes it is so easy to see exactly what you want, sometimes there are so many things coming at you it can be impossible to figure out what even tomorrow will bring.
Gaining clarity.
During the most confusing points in your life, and there will be many, it is important that you learn to set goals without basing those on what is happening at the moment. Take some time away from day to day life, and write down what you are extremely passionate about. Don’t lie to yourself. Don’t put your job on there, unless it really is something you would doeven if you aren’t getting paid! Write down things that you really want to do, and would do if you had all the time and money in the world. For example; spend time with your family, travel the world, climb Mt. Everest, become a professional skateboarder… You get the idea.
What do I do now?
Look at your day to day life. Are you taking any steps to make any of these dreams come true? Or have you just completely given up? I recently spoke with a person I’ve known for awhile, and they told me that they finally gave up on their dreams and have settled for a job that is completely un-fulfilling, but has room for future advancement and a retirement plan. I call this a prison term. Devoting 50 hours a week to this place, to earn just enough money to make a house and car payment, and a week of vacation every year. And after 40 years they let you out back in to the world, when you are too old to do all things you used to dream of doing. That scares the hell out of me! When you let your dreams die, you will almost instantly start down a path in life that will NEVER make you happy. Don’t ever forget that. No matter how bad things seem at any given moment, keep dreaming, and trust in those dreams so much that you know without any doubt you will make it.
