Getting your life out of a rut

Help! I’m stuck in a rut! My life just keeps dragging on, but nothing ever gets better.
I have been in and out of this rut many times in my life. The problem is, it is hard to see the path out when you are the one stuck.
Where do I start to change things?
Take 10 minutes, and write down your goals. Write down your big life goals, your income goals, and anything big you want to accomplish before you die.
Now write down the top 3 steps you need to take to accomplish each one.
Last, write down your current daily routine. See what’s missing? Now you know what you need to do. Take your list, hang it on your wall, and accomplish something each day that gets you a step closer to your goals. Every day, even if it is a 5 minute task. Never give up. Set the background photo of your cellphone with a picture that reminds you of those goals, do the same with your computer. Remember these goals every day, and inch your way towards them. It’s not hard, you’ll see!
Make sure not too try to do too much too fast, that is a sure way to fail. Make these small steps a routine, turn them in to a habit. Every morning look at the list and choose what to chip away at for the day. If I can do it, you can too.
