How many people reading this right now would love to be able to walk from your bedroom to your in house office, and start their workday while still in your pajamas? The Internet is absolutely saturated with work from home advertisements, scams, how to’s, and anything else people can think of to try to get your money. I am trying to accomplish something a little different here. I have been lucky enough to interview several people that work from home, running their business over the Internet. These are real people, that really make a living doing this. Today’s interview is with Kristen Smith, a virtual real estate assistant. Kristen has been able to handle many administrative tasks for Realtors across the United States, right from the comfort of her home. Be sure to take a few minutes to listen to the interview.
One point I took away from this interview is that starting a “virtual” business really opens up a lot of new opportunities. Instead of advertising to just the number of people in your local area, you are able to greatly increase the amount of potential customers. And working virtually also free up time for you to work with more clients than you could if you had to meet them all in person.
